Valuation

See what your business could be worth from the figures you confirm. The estimate uses general industry multiples. It is not an appraisal, and Biz List does not audit your return.

Enter your business name and address, upload your latest business tax return, and confirm the extracted figures. Your valuation range follows from those figures.

What documents are required for us to provide you a free valuation of your company?

All you need is your latest business tax return. Upload it, check the extracted information in Financial Review, and confirm it to see your valuation range.

Free financing readiness check

Buyers can also open a free readiness questionnaire. It gives an educational estimate of SBA-style readiness and a likely acquisition range from the answers you enter. It is not a loan approval.

Your valuation range

The earnings figures you confirm are multiplied by general industry multiples to show a most likely value, a likely range, and a confidence label. Owner-operated businesses are priced on owner earnings; larger or manager-run businesses are priced on EBITDA. Debt and cash adjustments are excluded unless you confirm them separately. This is an estimate, not an audit or an appraisal.

How your data is shared

Your listing stays private unless you opt in. These are the sharing steps the product applies today.

Opt in first

Buyer matching is off until you accept the Seller Listing Authorization. Until you do, other accounts cannot open your listing.

Then a confidentiality agreement

After you opt in, a verified buyer must accept the Buyer Confidentiality and Non-Circumvention Agreement for that listing. That page does not show your business name or address. After the buyer accepts, listing details are shown to that verified buyer. You are not asked to approve each buyer.
