Questions

Common questions

Is a Biz List valuation an appraisal?

No. It is an indicative estimate from the figures you confirm and general industry multiples. It is not an appraisal, an offer, or a prediction of what a buyer will pay, and it is not for tax, lending, legal, or other official use.

Does Biz List audit my tax return?

No. You review the extracted figures and confirm or correct them. You are responsible for the accuracy of the figures you confirm. Biz List does not audit or verify your return.

When is my business information shared?

Matching is off until you opt in by accepting the Seller Listing Authorization. After you opt in, a verified buyer must accept the Buyer Confidentiality and Non-Circumvention Agreement for that listing before listing details are shown. You are not asked to approve each buyer. Until that acceptance, the agreement page does not show your business name or address.

Do I have to sell if I get a valuation?

No. Buyer matching is optional. JOIN BIZ LIST LLC is not your broker, agent, or advisor. You decide what to do, with your own advisors.

What agreement applies if there is a dispute?

The Terms of Service apply, including Section 18's binding individual arbitration, class action and jury trial waivers, and one-year claim deadline, subject to the 30-day arbitration opt-out and court exceptions.
